Adventure week


On Monday was the start of our adventure week. We went to flip out and I learnt how to back flip.
On Tuesday we did cooking and I baked some cookies. And on Wednesday I went biking in bottle lake forest. On Thursday we all went to Jellie park for an all day swim. Friday it was rumbustificasion day. Every day we could buy juices, there were different flavours I got the wild berry one but there was also lemonade and tropical. when we went to Jellie park I got sun burn on my face, my arms, my legs and back. I jumped off the high dive and it was spooky. I also did a BACK FLIP, it was so fun but I always jumped very close to the board. It was quite scary seeing it so close to my face.

When we went to flip out I learnt how to back flip for the first time, that's how I built up the confidence to back flip at Jellie park. I did my first back flip into the foam pit and it was so easy much easier then at Jellie park. I'm hoping the next time I get on a trampoline I do a back flip flat. most people know how to do a back flip but let me tell you, I had no clue what to do. Ha that rhymed. The first back flip I did was quite far away from the edge of the foam pit but as I practiced more, they got closer and closer to the edge. Eventually we had to leave and we went back to school.

On Wednesday I went biking with my friends. Most of all my friends went except for two. the biking was in bottle lake forest and it was a pretty fun track but the hills were slowing me down. my bike isn't high quality, in fact its pretty bad. all the other people had like $800 bikes and mine was $200. it didn't have much suspension or speed, but the others were pack with it. two gear boxes one for speed and one for pedal speed, really good suspension and overall just good bikes.

I enjoyed adventure week and I hope to do it next year.

Truss Bridge Literacy

Truss Bridge: James, Jeneva and Brandon

I am making a bridge using trusses with Jeneva and Brandon. It’s hard to make a bridge because you have to hold everything together. We have all worked well together but there was more input from Jeneva because she was the “brains”. Brandon supplied the popsicle sticks, but did the gluing and a pattern for the base of the bridge. I glued the bridge and did the painting as well as Jeneva. She directed us and had done the research on the truss bridge. I learnt that a truss bridge is stronger when the trusses are arranged in a triangle shape.

Test Results

In Maths we have been using Google Sheets to record our tests. Every math time we have tests. my results are pretty good so far and we have been using sparklines. To do that you have to select your row in google sheets and press = then type spark and click on spark line, the next to your row a little line will show up. you dont have to do that. if you are going to update the row. you can do multiple spark lines in a row. I have been improving on my times tables and division.

Letter to my future self

This is my letter to my future self. We have been conducting ideas for this. Hope you like it.


Hey How are you doing? If you're reading this I hope you are a successful citizen of a nice place with a wife and one or two kids. A nice house decent money. I hope you have a nice job or even have your own business. At this moment im eleven years old but im acting like a teenager. So moody, yelling a lot, staying in my room too much. You probably remember that. If you don't then it's probably gor the best.


Today im just sitting in class in school. Boring times they are. But just tell yourself what high school was like because I havent been. Ihope I was a normal kid or whatever. Got good grades and had a good time.


Any way hope you’re doing good. Bye.

The World Is Ending

One seemingly normal and clear day I was sitting in my room playing red dead 2 on my PS4 then brandon and ezekiel said “come with us”. So they took me into the forest and into a tree house ezekiel said “we need to stay here” and then I saw a person through the window and they were holding a gun, I quietly whisper “We need to leave, because there is a guy climbing up the ladder.” we all hide on the roof and then I smash down the roof and steal his gun then I shot him in the face and throw him out the window. “So now we are wanted great.” Said brandon. “What do we do now?”

“We run.” I replied


Chapter 2. The Wanted Ones

We ran to our house and there was someone in our house taking our stuff! I slowly walked into the kitchen and saw two dead bodies. It was mum and dad. I got a knife and ran to the person in our house. I jumped on him with the knife to his neck.

“Wait- my names Kaedyn. Don’t kill me!” I got off him and he gave me the bag.

We took all we could and ran. we built a shelter and stayed there for the night. At exactly 12:00.am I heard a rustle in the bush outside I woke everybody up. We walked outside and saw a little dog. It was limping. It wanted us to follow him. We all got up and followed this strange scruffy tiny dog to a broken down hotel. Inside was a boy with a cut leg. He said “The bombings, they happened two days ago and I was forced away from my family. My name is Carter.” Brandon pulled out his knife and said “We should eat the dog.” Carter stood up and limped over to him with a handgun to his head saying “That dog is the only thing keeping me alive. It’s was well trained and does everything that I tell him.” Brandon said we should still eat it. Carter told Poppy (the dogs name) “Fire a warning laser at his shoe.” Poppy zapped him on the foot and it started to steam.


Chapter 3. New Recruits


We have got seven people including the dog six without the dog and we are slowly mov- BANG CRASH BOOM!!! Down came some air force ships and it looked like they were shooting something. Maybe another ship or something on the ground. We ran into the hotel and hid there for a bit. The ground was shaking and bits were falling from the roof so we decided to leave and ran into another building. But it was broken and crumbled one hit and it would fall. Some ship hit the building and it started to fall. We sprinted to the edge of the city. We ran into the forest and we saw a road. We walked along the road and saw a bus on the side of the road. It was parked next to a big tree. As we got closer we saw that the tree was somehow on top of it. We ran to it because we saw some people inside. Halfway between us and the bus an alien dropped off his ship. It crashed into the tree and split it in half. We ran back into the forest after a bit of walking we found a clearing. we saw a girl sleeping on a log then woke her up. Her name was Maria she was the same age as me… 14 But I was older by 2 months.


Chapter 4: The Volunteer.

So now we had 4 new people and in total we have 11 people and food supplies were running low. Everyone new that there had to be a sacrifice but they were all too scared. Ezekiel manned up and said “I'll chop off my arm to feed the group.” He chopped off his arm and Maria instantly bandaged it up and put pressure on it. I got a lighter out of my backpack and singed the end. Ezekiel started crying when he saw it. We started cooking it and we ate it. We gave the hand to Ezekiel. After dinner we went to sleep but maria got scared because she heard a noise and woke me up. She shook the pile of leaves I was sleeping in. “JAMES JAMES WAKE UP!!! There was a noise in the forest! Get everyone up.” we got them up and moved out. On the way to our next spot kayden heard something in the woods next to us on the right. He walked in and instantly ran out screaming. “RUN RUN!!!!” We all ran in confusion and he said “we are getting chased!” A giant alien was thumping and crashing behind us. Kayden tripped onto Carter. As Carter was falling he said get Brandon but he meant to say ‘get me Brandon!’ Carter's dog chased Brandon but before Carter could say stop but Carter got taken by the alien. Poppy chased brandon down. When I looked back the alien had a dead kayden in his mouth. Poppy jumped on brandon and took him down. (By this time the alien was gone). She started biting Brandon. “Poppy stop.” I tell her She stopped and ran to me. I told her “you're doing it wrong.” I taught her how to kill him and she ran to him and bit his head off. And brought it to my like a dog with a ball. She dragged the corpse with her and gave it to me. I through him over my back and carried him the rest of the way, but there was something weird about his body his blood and flesh was a weird colour. We found a good spot and I started a fire. We cooked some wild boar meat that we found and ate it, after that traumatic event we went to sleep awaiting the next day…


Chapter 5: The Yard!

We woke up to the sound of birds chirping wind blowing and a sunny day. I said “are we in heaven?”

All of a sudden a plane dropped from the sky. “Well that ruined the cinematic butifulness.” I said.

Along came an alien spaceship and it landed next to us. We ran and someone emerged from the door. It was… BRANDON!? “ How- when- what the heck happened to you?”

“We thought you died!” I said. We had a long talk about what had happened. Then we got some food and kept on talking. It was late we were walking to find a new location when I thought I saw a bus in the river next to the bridge we were on. I walked to the edge to find the bus had gone off the side and crashed into the water. I got the others over and Maria saw some people inside. I dove in and tried to break the window. I saw one of the geastering for me to get out of the water. I went up for a breath and came back down. Then I saw it a giant 150 foot shark swimming elegantly underneath me. I thought of one thing to get it away. Boar meat. I got out of the water and squelched to my friends to find the with some boar meat. They had the same idea as me. Maria tied a knot around my waist and I lumped in with a giant piece of bloody boar meat. “Don't get hurt.”

Carter said worryingly. “I’ll try not to.” I jokingly said. I dove in with the meat and the shark jolted towards me. I threw the meat but it was going slow and it was near me. The shark came straight for the meat. CHOMP!!! I pulled on the rope as fast as I could. And she pulled me out to see my Arm was bitten off. I had an insane amount of blood loss. She put pressure on it as fast and hard as she could. “ AAAAAAAAAAAH” I roared. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH” “AAAAAAAAAAAAAH” “MY ARRRM” I CRIED. They carried me to a nearby shelter the could find. The Bad part was the shelter was an old van at a scrap yard. Maria went out to get food but instantly came back in the van. WOLVES!!! “We need to get out of here!” I yelled.     NOT FINISHED YET FYI.

Narrator: One day there were three little pigs, they wanted to play card but they had to make there house.

Pig 1: I’m going to build my house out of hay.

Pig 2: I'm going to make my house out of wood

Pig 3: Well i'm going to make my house out of brick

Narrator: So the three pigs started building their houses.

Narrator: Pig 1 and Pig 2 finished their house in 1 hour.

Pig 1: I'm done

Pig 2: I'm done too.

Narrator: The two pigs sat down and played cards.

Pig 3: oh no look a wolf.

Narrator: The pigs all ran to their houses, he blew down the hay house.

Pig 1: Oh no my house.

Narrator: The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the wood house down.

Pig 2: Oh no my house.

Narrator: Pig 1 and pig 2 ran to pig 3 ́s house, So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew… and oh nothing happened? What, how that's not how it goes. Reader do you know what is going on.

Wolf: HEY WHAT HAPPENED I WANTED TO EAT YOU. GRRRR

Pig 3: No, I made my house wolf proof so you can't get us.

Narrator: So the wolf got mad and looked around. He saw the chimney and climbed up the house.

Wolf: I'm gonna get you.

Pig 1: Nooooo

Pig 2: Nooooo

Pig 3: Yessssss, the fire is one the pot is ready.

Narrator: The wolf jumped down the chimney and fell in the pot. The pigs huffed and puffed and blew on their freshly cooked wolf meat.

Narrator: THE END.

Shark vs. Polar Bear

If a shark and a bear got into a fight in jello, a place where neither of them has the advantage of being in their natural environment, which one do you think would win and why?

I think both of them would lose because… The Shark cannot breath so therefor it would suffocate but the Poler bear has alot of weight so it would sink. There is no telling which would die first. The Shark might have held its breath. The Poler bear could have either held its breath or held it self up.

So both would lose and die.

In sewing I am making a pillow for my little brother. In electronics I am making a game for my family and it is a steady hand game. On my little brother’s pillow it is going to have his name and some cool designs on it. On my steady hand game is a ‘Fortnite’ picture and the block is blue. I made a very hard game.
